The Art & Science of Spaces That Support You

Where intentional design, the psychology of space, and the ancient wisdom of Feng Shui come together — to create homes that don't just look beautiful, but genuinely feel like you.

I'm Tenaya, and for over fifteen years I've specialized in creating healthy, rejuvenating, functional spaces that feel amazing to spend time in — working intimately with each client to ensure their finished spaces reflect their unique design and lifestyle needs.

What sets my work apart is the integration of—and expertise in—disciplines most designers treat separately: interior space design & planning, color theory, the psychology of space, and Feng Shui. Together, these create something more powerful than any one part — a home that supports you on every level.

Whether you're building from the ground up or transforming a space you've lived in for years, I bring to your project, innovative thinking and decades of experience in finding solutions within interiors.

The Foundation

Your home should hold you—not work against you.

The spaces where you spend your time have a profound impact on the life you're able to live. Most people sense this — a room that drains them, a layout that creates daily friction, a home that never quite feels settled. I believe every one of those stressors is solvable.

What I believe

Good design isn’t just what you see. It’s what you feel—and what it quietly makes possible.

Space is never neutral

Every room is already shaping your mood, energy, and clarity. Poorly planned spaces create friction and fatigue. Thoughtfully designed ones restore and energize. The difference is always intentional design.

Beauty and function belong together

I refuse to choose between a home that looks stunning and one that works for your life. The flow that feels effortless, the light that falls just right — these aren't luxuries. They are the foundation of a beautiful life.

Your home should support who you are becoming

I design for the life you're stepping into — not the one you've outgrown. A great space doesn't just reflect your identity; it quietly supports your evolution, your family, and your future.

What i bring

A diverse depth of expertise

Few designers bring this combination of disciplines to a project. Fewer still have spent decades refining how the disciplines work seamlessly together.

My background spans interior space planning & design, color theory, Feng Shui, the psychology of space, and designing healthy, sustainable homes. This isn't a collection of services — it's an integrated way of seeing every project, where each discipline informs the others.

Feng Shui, at its core, is millennia of careful observation about how human beings thrive in space — how energy moves, where stillness gathers, how placement shapes mood, relationship, and possibility. I bring this depth of knowing to every project, blending it seamlessly with contemporary design so your home feels like a timeless reflection of you.

The result: spaces that eliminate the unintentional stressors that inadvertently get built into homes — and replace them with design that actively supports your health, your relationships, and your everyday life. Your investment goes further. Your space works harder. And you feel it the moment you walk in.
